This short 3 Days Serengeti Safari departing from Zanzibar gives you two golden game drive days and a peaceful night between them. Departing with a flight from Zanzibar to a Serengeti airstrip, you will meet your guide, and spend your best hours where lions, elephants, and endless light share the stage.
We align flights, vehicles, and meals so each hour counts. You return to Zanzibar with dusty boots, clear photos, and a calm mind that only wide skies deliver.
Day 1: Fly Zanzibar to Serengeti, first afternoon game drive
Wake up early and proceed for a short transfer to the airport. Check in for the scheduled bush flight to the Serengeti, usually via Arusha or direct depending on the day. Land on a bush airstrip, meet your guide, and take a short drive to your safari camp with a game-viewing route en route. Settle in for lunch, then roll out for an afternoon game drive across the plains where giraffe heads drift above the grass and the first lion tracks sharpen your attention.
After the encounter with warm light and your first sightings, you shall embark on an easy evening by the fire. You listen for hyena calls, let dinner arrive without hurry, and watch the sky turn purple. Sleep comes quickly when night sounds replace city noise.

Day 2: Full day Serengeti, picnic under an acacia
Wake up early morning and begin your adventure by following fresh tracks, scan kopjes for lounging cats, and sit quietly as elephants fan dust in the low sun. Your guide sets a gentle rhythm so you enjoy the scene rather than chase it. A picnic lunch waits under an acacia where shade, breeze, and silence feel like part of the meal.
After the days exciting adventure with golden hours and patient watching, you shall embark on a midday rest to recharge. Later, you take a relaxed loop toward camp, stopping when the landscape asks for it. You trade favorite moments over dinner and keep one last star photo for yourself.

Day 3: Dawn game drive, flight back to Zanzibar
Wake before sunrise for a final drive. You return to a scene you loved or try a new track that your guide trusts for morning movement. Expect sharp silhouettes, soft air, and that quick pause every time a lion lifts its head. Return for a late breakfast, check out, and take a short drive to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. On arrival, meet our team for your hotel drop off or onward connection.
After the encounter with warm light and a tidy handover at the airstrip, you shall embark on your return flight with two souvenirs. A clear memory that keeps replaying and a little dust that refuses to leave your shoes. Both tell the story better than any postcard.
